What is coaching?

As an ADHD expert, I offer specialized support for people with ADHD and their families.

Coaching is a collaborative and creative process that starts from individual needs and strengths. In individually tailored sessions, the goal is also to better understand your own ADHD and how your own brain works.

You play the essential role in this process.

Together we will look for strategies that work for you.

Objectives and planning

Time management and organization

Possible topics

Help in setting realistic goals. The coach supports you in breaking down large projects into manageable steps and achieving your goals.

Learn to manage your time better, set priorities and meet deadlines.

Motivation and self-esteem

Learn to strengthen your own self-confidence, even in times of setbacks.

The coach can help you to recognize and change negative thought patterns.

Communication and

social interactions

Improving social skills, including dealing with conflict and fostering relationships.

Impulse control and emotion regulation

Strategies for improving impulse control and managing emotional swings. This can help avoid impulsive decisions and better cope with stressful situations.

As a university-trained clinical educational specialist, I base my work on the latest scientific findings. Although science can err (and regularly does), in my opinion it offers the best possible framework for continuously developing expertise. That is why I also regularly educate myself further and reflect on my work with experienced mentors.

ADHD coaching can be provided independently or alongside established ADHD therapies. For example, when a diagnosis has been made or initial medication has been prescribed and the aim is to regain control over one's own life. Coaching cannot replace medical or therapeutic treatment.

Everyone is welcome at ADHD & CO, regardless of their background, gender, sexual orientation, abilities, religion or culture.
